The Destination

The Destination: Mt. Katahdin. Maine. Elev. 5,268 ft. Northern Terminus of the Appalachian Trail, and 2,181 miles from my starting point, Springer Mountain, Georgia.

Fun Fact, as the crow flies, Springer Mountain and Mt. Katahdin are only 1,117 miles apart. So for every mile closer to my goal, I must walk two.
